BEMIDJI, Minn. - A troubling profile of the teenager who shot dead nine people emerged on Tuesday — one of a Native American who allegedly described himself as a "NativeNazi" and who other students said was regularly picked on for his odd behavior.

The teenager, identified as Jeff Weise, stormed into Red Lake High School on Monday afternoon and allegedly shot to death an unarmed guard, a teacher and five students before killing himself.

Before the Red Lake shootings, Weise, whom authorities described variously as 16 or 17, allegedly shot dead his grandfather and his grandfather's girlfriend at the home he shared with them.

Initial reports had as many as 15 people injured in the shootings at the school, but authorities lowered that number to seven on Tuesday. Five remained in regional hospitals, including two students with critical injuries from gunshot wounds to the head or face.

It was the nation’s worst school shooting since the Columbine massacre in 1999 that killed 13 people.

"When I was growing up, I was taught (like others) that Nazi's were evil and that Hitler was a very evil man," he said in another posting. "Of course, not for a second did I believe this. ... They truly were doing it for the better."

He also wrote that he planned to recruit high school students to join a neo-Nazi movement he hoped to start on his reservation.

Sure they could. There's a prison gang called the Nazi Low Riders in California that admits half-Hispanic people due to the shortage of violent white criminals.

And given how many UN people assume Palestine should be a state (not assimilate itself into Israel) just because it's racially Arab/Muslim....

No. The Nazis didn't want to destroy all other races.
The Nazis wanted a strong, racially "pure" Germany, unified with all surrounding Germanic peoples.
They slaughtered Jews and Gypsies etc as they were undesirable in this new Germany and were seen asa corrupting force on the German people.
They also wanted lebensraum in eastern Europe, which was basically cleansing land of Slavs to make room for "greater Germany". That's why they invaded Poland and USSR.

If Palestine assimilated into Israel, Israel woudn't be around in 50 years. The Palestinian population is increasing much more rapidly than the Israeli Jew population. Israel is already looking at a demographic "nightmare" (from a certain p.o.v.). Assimilating the West Bank and Gaza will make it much worse.

Not sure why he bounced on yours, and oh, BTW, I started this thread and then noticed yours.

Now, Science, ah yes, Mr. Charles Darwin had some provocative notions about the Origin of Species, including Man, and the survival of Races.

What can the evolution of the American Indians tell us about the survival of the strongest Races? If we are just beasts evolving to survive or out survive each other, on what foundation do we have for objective moral law? Darwin's fans have no clue how we "evolved" into moral beings.

Why can't Indians assert their place in the rainbow of Races? Survival of the fittest, or the may the best shot win? The strongest shooter? Or, the biggest guns? NeoNazis' R'US?

The year was 1859, Charles Darwin published his revolutionary book, The Origin of Species. Actually, the full title of the work is, The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection: or, The Preservation Of Favored Races In The Struggle For Life.

In this book, the author contended that higher levels of biological existence are attained as the strong eliminate the weak in the struggle for survival.

Subsequently, Darwin produced yet another work, The Descent of Man (1871), in which he wrote even more explicitly:

“With savages, the weak in body or mind are soon eliminated; and those that survive commonly exhibit a vigorous state of health. We civilized men, on the other hand, do our utmost to check the process of elimination; we build asylums for the imbecile, the maimed, and the sick; we institute poor-laws; and our medical men exert their utmost skill to save the life of every one to the last moment. There is reason to believe that vaccination has preserved thousands, who from a weak constitution would formerly have succumbed to small-pox. Thus the weak members of civilized societies propagate their kind. No one who has attended to the breeding of domestic animals will doubt that this must be highly injurious to the race of man”
