I weigh in on Friday's.... I think I will have a substantial loss this Friday due to the bloating issue being goneNochyu mokraya ptitsa nikogda ne letaet.

Re: The Official TWeb Diet Support Group Thread
Well, I'm cooking dinner for Day 2 rignt now. Such a clever multi-tasker am I!
Cheated on Day 1 because I hadn't made the complete emotional leap yet and because I had leftover almond cookies from our vacation. I ate 2, then went back for 2 more and threw the rest away! Later, I went grocery shopping and spent about $150 on new things to have in stock to make this easier. Dinner was a store-bought rotisserie chicken (with skin removed), shared with hubby, and a very large salad of romaine lettuce, baby spinach, baby carrots, bermuda onion, lightly-salted edamame (soy beans), toasted pine nuts and sesame seeds, and Newman's balsamic dressing (the light version). No carb for this meal. Bottled water to drink. It was very satisfying and tasty. I will be experimenting with salad a lot now. We usually do a standard greek, but I am bored with that.
Today, a bowl of Total with a sliced banana and 1% milk for breakfast, a few Triscuit crackers with 2 slices of baby swiss cheese, 3 bottles of water. Dinner is baked pork chops in a plum sauce marinade, brown rice which I will brilliantly season later on, and collared greens sauteed in extra virgin olive oil with garlic and slivered onion. I may toss some chopped apple into that when it is cooked...maybe. More bottled water.
Then, off to admin the PalTalk room streaming DeeDee's Gene Cook appearance. I hereby proclaim that she will not suck!

I should look into water aerobics. I'm thinking about yoga and Pilates, but with my fibromyalgia, I'm not sure I can handle either. Good thought...I'll keep it in mind!

I've done it before - it's fun. And my orthopedist says it's good for my knee (bad knee!).
I am soooo stressing - I keep thinking I'm not losing weight anymore. I can't weigh now (bloating kinda does skew the result
) and it's really bugging me.

I've got bad knees, too. Bursitis.

You probably know this already, but plateaus are not uncommon on the Atkins plan. I believe the official advice is to go back to the induction diet for a week until you begin to lose again. Don't stress...that doesn't do anyone any good at all...least of all, you!

Don't worry about whether or not you've plateaued until after you've started your excersise, then make adjustments if you need. Your body is just getting comfortable the excersise should kick start things again.

Funny thing is, I don't want to drop off at all. I wonder if I could get by by using the low carb stuff I'm avoiding now because it's too high for me right now (low carb ice cream!
Man, I wish they made that in single serve!) and maybe some pasta... I just don't want to go back to what was normal... Weird, huh?
I'm gonna pick up some ketosis strips and check myself. Water aerobics starts next week I think!
