  • Long Showers or Baths?

You ever take a long good one? I've tried long baths but the water never stays warm

I tend to take longer showers in the winter. I try to use only lightly scented body washes especially during the summer, and I do all my shaving then.

I like both, to be honest and it all depends on what I feel like doing that day.

How'd you keep the bath water warm? That's my biggest issue...

Drain some of it and refill what you drained with hot water.

Lol. With baths I use salts sometimes. I used to like bubble baths.

I can only take a long bath anymore if I bring my book to read. I haven't had a long shower since I was severely depressed and trying to study for the LSAT.

I might have shared this story before...but....when I was little, I decided to mix bubble bath and bath oil. I got a rash mostly in the bathing suit area for some reason. My mom was concerned but I didn't fess up for a long time. I think I finally told her either at the doctor's office or when we were with one of her friends.

It was an interesting one-piece rash....

Those work great. I don't get to do that much anymore, so when I can... I try to enjoy it.

I've tried reading. It wasn't very comfortable and I was afraid of dropping the book. But I saw those tray thingies some time ago and I think that's what I'm missing...

I've never had an issue being afraid of dropping the book...one of very few things I'm not anxious about. Hahaha.

Come to think...I've found it hard to sit comfortably in the tub period. I don't know if it's because I'm short ... 5 1/2 ...

Some tubs are better than others, too. I prefer my parents' tub sometimes because theirs is a better shape and has a sloping back to recline on.

Wow, is it a claw foot tub? I liked the one we had when I was a child.
