Yeah, I said it.
Yoda isn't only a big dopey muppet, he's an ugly dopey muppet.
Just because he speaks like English is his second language doesn't make him master of anything other than weak minded sci-fi junkies too disconnected from real life to be capable of identifying a believable character.
Sci-fi mavens need to grow up and get into some adult material instead of constantly feeding on the trash Dopeywood keeps throwing out there. Star Wars is pulp, people, absolute pulp and it is less real than the artificially colored grease they dump on your popcorn.
Oh sure, if you don't want to think you can let out your belt a notch and go buy the Mega-Bucket of popcorn and the 64oz. coke for $8.00 -- at least the 3500 calories you'll consume will dull your brain enough to make it somewhat enjoyable.

"Star Wars" doesn't pretend to be real science fiction, IMO. It's a revival of the space serials that formerly accompanied full-length movies back when everyone in the US attended movies regularly.
