and he read GG the story of David and Golliath. GG then took heart and said "I have no apple nor any crowns or stars or bracelets or chess pieces on my bar but I can be like David --- except that I have no slingshot". so GG hid beheind OBP again.

Unfortunately, GG's maneuver doesn't fool the creature. It bites a chunk out of GG's leg, runs up Lily and sits on her shoulder purring contentedly...

"That does it" says GG. He takes a forked piece of wood, cuts off a few inches of 's tail, makes a slingshot, and blasts the purring creature into the next county and he then carries Lily off to the safety of his cave.

Unfortunately, GG's cave is also in the next county, and the creature meets him at the door. OBP is no longer there to hide behind, because he's a bit miffed at losing part of his tail. What will GG do?

Zing! with the slingshot again. Kills the beast, cooks him, shares a feast with Lily, and then goes into his cave to take well earned nap (which he learned from the Bible).

Meanwhile, DNBA has been performing micro-surgery on OBP's tail and, the anaesthetic having worn off, he's feeling a lot better. So they both trot off to the cave just as gg is waking up. "Let's go and have a few Martinis" says DNBA. Lily replies....."

"lips that touch booze will never touch mine." so DNBA kisses her on the cheek and heads off to the bar with OBP ---- followed by a strange looking animal with 7 legs.....

It turns out that GG's work with the slingshot was rather less effective than he thought (armor-piercing slingshot rounds are hard to come by). It's looking for revenge, and figures that where OBP is, GG will soon show up and try to close a thread or two...

having been tipped off by , GG gathers up his supply of armor-percing high-explosive moderate-yield nuclear slingshot rounds and camps out at the entrance to the cave to protect Lily from the beast and from drunken bar-hopping pigs and DNBAs.

Unbeknownst to all in the story, the creature hides in OBP's backpack while he's busy indulging. OBP's tail has been re-attached, to boot. After a few hours of fun, OBP and DNBA return to GG's cave to sleep it off...

OBP and DNBA are rudely awoken by the sound of a thermo-nuclear blast as gg tries yet again to send the rambo-like doormouse into the next state. They run to the entrance to the cave just in time to see...

GG looking like Wile E. Coyote after a misadventure with dynamite, while the creature runs around unharmed. It would rather not take any more bites out of GG, however, having a profound dislike of the taste of charcoal. It scampers off into the sunset as GG does a faceplant. Lily hurries out to play nursemaid...

but little do they know that all this time that it was not really Lily in the cave...it looked like Lily, but it was really an alien from a nearby planet in disguise, who had came to retrieve it's pet mouse it had accidentally let loose on the planet on a previous trip...Lily had vanished...and when the creature tore off it's fake human skin, GG fainted with fright... and when poor O.B.P. took off running he lost part of his tail again when DNBA grabbed it...the creature not finding his pet mouse decided to take GG as his new pet and off they headed for the planet of.....

We Made It! where the aliens had survived a crash landing centuries before. They were really bad pilots. OBP and DNBA quickly commandeered the TWSS yxboom and followed them in order to find Lily and rescue GG...

Meanwhile GG was trying to convert the aliens. It was not working too well because they did not speak English. Then GG realized that really liked talking food, so he shut up and awaited help......
