CV, do you have a link to Savage Worlds? I think I've used that before.

      Here

IIRC, you were planning to use it for an Episodic Western game before the crash of Old Tweb.

DC Universe Online. It's an MMORPG that's much more action oriented than most. Basically you make your own superhero/super villain and have them fight in the DC comics universe.

Conan the Barbarian style would be awesome. Dresden Files are also awesome, but nothing says it has to be urban fantasy setting. Might also look at the New World of Darkness system, but I'm not sure how tweb friendly it is.
          I'm not here anymore.

That's why it was familiar. I still think it's related to Vengence, Inc.

            Thanks!

I just remembered... I've still got that Final Fantasy-esque game I wanted to try running, using a Final Fantasy 2d6 system I found.

                  No.

I thought maybe someone around here might be interested. Building up RumTumTugger's league has been really slow.

We have our own League already, but not many members.
Maybe? Don't know how I'd find you guys, but I'm wary of any game above E-10.

Well, the game is rated T, and the "online interactions" are not rated. Basically it means that some of the people playing are just really crude. You can avoid them by turning off certain stuff in the text chat though. It's rated for Mild Language, Mild Blood, Mild Suggestive Themes, and Violence.

So, being wary of anything above E 10, you might want to avoid nearly all MMO games out there. Lot's of rude people online.

Back on Topic... Here's the teaser that I originally posted for that campaign.

                          ****

                          To our Newest Arrivals,
I bet you’re wondering why you’re here in the Debtor’s Arena of Iola… Well, it’s simple really. You owed money to somebody, and didn’t pay up. Whether they were your tutor, your bartender, your landlord, or the owner of your favorite casino, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you’re here to earn enough money to pay them back, and provide my bloodthirsty crowds with some entertainment.
“How do you do that,” you ask? Another quaint inquiry… The answer to which is merely that you fight. Depending on how well you do, you earn cash. The majority of your pay goes to my Arena’s upkeep and your *ahem* ‘sponsor.’ Whatever remains, you get in the form of Arena Scrip that can be used for whatever your hearts’ content in the shops.
Are you worried about dying by some axe-crazy meathead or some random monster? I wouldn’t be. The people who sent you here don’t get their money if you’re a corpse, so it’s in the Arena’s best interest to keep you alive. That being said, if you start throwing matches or doing poorly, your fees for Arena upkeep may start to increase...
What do you do after your debt has been paid? The answer to that question depends entirely on you. If you enjoy battle and the crowds are crazy about you, you may get hired on as one of our gladiators. But, chances are, you’re more into adventuring and exploration… If that’s the case, there’s a whole world for you to explore. From the isles of U’ Bello, to the Military State of Raj, to the chaotic ‘nation’- if I may use that term loosely- of Remaled.
That is, IF you can pay your debts…

                          Signed,
                          Nicholae, Kaiser of Debtors
PS. I wouldn't bother trying to escape. That tends to result in some rather... unsavory consequences.

                          ***

ETA: So... does this pique any interest?

FWIW I have an idea for a backstory to a campaign that could possibly make NWoD (specifically Vampire: the Requiem) board-acceptable. I don't have the right sort of skills to run it myself, but an aspiring Storyteller could PM me...
