Three Views on Eastern Orthodoxy and Evangelicalism
Luv1another sent me this book (thanks Kaz!), and I thought it would be an interesting book-club type thing to read and discuss with all those interested in the Orthodox Church (not necessarily agreeing with it) and its relationship (or lack thereof) with evangelical Christianity.
The book presents three views of the question: Are Eastern Orthodox and Evangelicalism Compatible? Those views being 'Yes', 'No', and 'Maybe'.
Each of the five contributers presents his view and the other four posit their responses, and then there is a rebuttal by the author of that particular article. So far I find it very intersting.
The book can be purchased at Overstock.com for $10.12 plus $1.40 for shipping. Or here, at Amazon.com for $10.19, plus free shipping if you can't resist ordering something else that would bring your total to $25
.
I think maybe this needs to be in some sort of 'closed' format if I find anyone interested in such a discussion.
