Why, Nintendo, Why?
Why must you hold your good games ransom behind such gimmicky crap?
Behold, this is what you'll be playing your Zelda and Mario games with on the New Nintendo System:

Re: Why, Nintendo, Why?
To be fair, it does have some interesting possibilities. Imagine playing Legend of Zelda where you actually get to swing the sword? Of course... it's also compatible with GameCube controllers I hear. Thank. Heaven.

You can get a massage and play nintendo at the same time!
No matter what happens, someone will find a way to take it too seriously.

Re: Why, Nintendo, Why?
nintendo wants to change the way you play games. So you need a new controller. The Revolution won't be able to port games anyway, cuz its too underpowered. I am very curious. And if I don't like it, out comes my cube controller.
Meh.

Re: Why, Nintendo, Why?
Notice that if you turn the ...thing... sideways, it looks like the classic NES controller. I think this is because the Rev will have the ability to download classic NES games. That should be amusing, though there are only a few games that I am interested in playing from the NES era.

While it does look pretty horrid, I'll wait till I can test it out before I pass judgement...

Re: Why, Nintendo, Why?
Are you ******* kidding me!?!? NOOOOOOOO!!! I love Nintendo, but what is that thing??? It's a remote control! Nintendo better know what they're doing with this thing-but luckily, they always seem to.

Re: Why, Nintendo, Why?
Okay, I change my mind. I now think that the Revolution controller is the single coolest thing ever, and that Nintendo are a bunch of geniuses. Nintendo has this effect on me sometimes.

You think it could be ambidexterous? I've had some left-handed people tell me they have trouble with certain videogame controllers.

Actually reading about the thing... I am impressed. Figured I would be let down because of all the hype, but they really outdid my expectations. I wanna play that Metroid Prime 2 reworked demo. Now.

Re: Why, Nintendo, Why?
After reading about it on nintendo.com, i'm starting to think this might be cool. I can't wait to test it out at GameCrazy.

I think it could easily be, if Nintendo wanted to make a right-handed analog stick plug-in. I don't know if they will, of course.
