Dave, thank you for the question, nothing I like better than good Rockabilly.

First off, The Stray Cats are top shelf, in my opinion, Brian Setzer is the greatest Rockabilly guitar player ever.

The Reverend is another top notch Rockabilly/Psychobilly band.

Other current good rockabilly/psychobilly/punkabilly/trashabilly/satanbilly bands:

Paul Galaxy and the Galactix. Paul is a close second to Setzer in guitar prowess.

Rip Carson & the Twilight Trio (Broke up)

Yes, I've always liked rockabilly, but other than the late greats the only band I've been aware of was the Stray Cats. I think it was Bryan Setzer who said he washes his hands like 20 times before he takes up his guitar to play.

Edit to add: there's a little store in our downtown that sells nothing but vintage pearl snap shirts...but I can't fit into any of them. What's the rule that says rockabilly guys have to be so dang skinny?

Nah, I can't. FYI they are playing with the Pretenders and ZZ Top. I saw ZZ Top last time through, so I'm not in any big hurry to see them.
My stepbrother doesn't promote the oldies concerts anymore, so I can't get free backstage tickets.
