Win-Ace
I am heavy-hearted to bring you the news that I received that Win Ace has passed away - here is what I received:
Win Ace and I got into some heated discussion, but he was always very well liked in my heart, and was the subject of my prayers. Though it is not that unusual as I am an emotional person, I did cry to learn of his death. It is with great sadness that I must report that Allan died in the hospital this morning, surrounded by the people who loved him most. An announcement from Jessica's mother can be found here:

My deepest condolences to Jessica, Allan's family and friends. :(

This is an awful, awful tragedy. I can't say how awful this makes me feel.

Yes it is, and now just staring out the window, even though people die every day, he and I had some personal conversations on faith, and he was a nice guy - it is hard to just bop around today as normal. Death is so abstract until it is someone you "know."

Ug. That's awful... 20 years old?If there is anything I’ve learned from both conservatives and liberals, it’s that we can have all the “right” answers and still be mean. And when you’re mean, it’s hard for people to listen to, much less desire, your truth.

What a waste. What a very sad waste. We should all be thankful we've made it as far as we have no matter what tribulations we may have under gone. My sympathies to his family and those who share in this loss.

I do not think I will be able to keep myself from crying over this.

I'm sorry to hear this. My condolences to his family and friends.

Re: Win-Ace
wow. that shocked me.
I didn't really know him but when I read about his plight I felt for him and decided to help a little.
I am very sad to hear he has died, I was really pulling for him. It reminds me that none of us know how much time we have.

*sigh* I didn't know the lad, but I read about him on his web page.
It is a shame he was hung out to dry by his insurance company. However, he seems to have grabbed life with both hands while he had it, and now he is once again returned to The Great Mystery. I am sorrowful for the pain of those he as left behind, and hope that healing is quick and the memories are fond.
