Re: Tektoonics.com
I see to have lost the parody response to Evangelion the Brick.
Oh well.

Due to rampant stupidity by Skeptics, and time issues, I'm only going to be on TWeb in my own (tektonics.org) section from now on. Deal with it.

Re: Tektoonics.com
"Evangelion the Brick"? I'm sorry, I just had a mental image pop into my head of some anime involving giant robots and some sort of brick duking it out over Tokyo.

Re: Tektoonics.com
For some reason, it's still showing up for me the same way it did several days ago.
"If God has given [his people] such joy now, joy in their faith, in their hope, in love, in the truth of his scriptures, what kind of joy is he preparing for them at the end? If he feeds them like this on the journey, how will he feast them in their homeland?"--Augustine of Hippo

surely you mean "when you're done with it"? Anyway, cracking website that. Had me so in stitches I'll have to take it in spoonfuls.

JP,
still laughing at the new site. But the Ted Bell parody graphics don't load (tested in Mozilla and Opera - sorry, don't use Internet Sucksplora!) Keep up the good work,

Re: Tektoonics.com
Ok and....
http://www.tektoonics.com/etc/misctoons.html
Two broken links:
http://www.tektoonics.com/etc/narnia.jpg
http://www.tektoonics.com/etc/jabez.jpg
Both of these are actually named (on the server) as ".JPG", in capital letters, not lowercase. Apparently your server can tell the difference, and takes exception to it.
So, these links will work:
http://www.tektoonics.com/etc/narnia.JPG
http://www.tektoonics.com/etc/jabez.JPG
Or you could change the names to lowercase.
P.S. I noticed "http://www.tektoonics.com/etc/hlshow.PNG" ("The Hal Lindsey Show" by Toa of Justice) also has an uppercase extension, but it doesn't seem to be linked to from your "misc" page at the moment...
Other files I have noticed with U/C extensions:
In the /parody directory:
awolagnostic.PNG
bigsqueeze.PNG
brain.JPG
brookee01.JPG
btcontraption.PNG
confessions.PNG
jphocd1.JPG
jphocd2.JPG
jphocd3.JPG
laacupuncture.PNG
lazygoboom.PNG
lgm.BMP and lgm.PNG
lgmmgm.JPG
misfortune_jph.JPG
mouthracers.PNG
pleasegod1.GIF
question1.JPG and question2.JPG
rccomic.PNG
tillration.JPG
twintoon.PNG
In the /parody/bell directory:
ted10.JPG through ted25.JPG

Re: Tektoonics.com
I've also just noticed that the links to tekton articles from the Jan '05 screwball page don't work. (The other screwball pages don't seem to have any tekton links.)
Meh, you could probably just get away with putting a notice on the page that says "links may not work"...

Re: Tektoonics.com
.....AND.... a bunch of more ones.

In case you're wondering how I found them all, I was trying to download some of them, and the program picked out the faulty links.
-----
"Heiro the Elephant":
Faulty links in answer to the following questions:
71. If Jesus is perfect, justify the parable of the fig tree (Matthew 21:17-19, Mark 11:14-20)
80. Should the book of Revelation be taken literally? Explain your answer.

A few in http://www.tektoonics.com/parody/poc...ikachumyth.htm.
The buttons at the top of "http://www.tektoonics.com/parody/pocemon/triumph_before_christ.html" are broken, they seem to have links like "http://www.tektoonics.com/parody/pocemon/style=pagan_origins_getting_started.html", etc
In fact, there's quite a few broken links in that particular parody, so I haven't chased them all down...
-----------------
More pages, but with no details - if you want I can try to chase them down for you.
One in www.tektoonics.com/parody/pendragon142.html
`www.tektoonics.com/parody/pest/pest02.htm'
`www.tektoonics.com/parody/smithkpar.html' (tekton links problem)
(These ones have the bad link destinations listed)
=> `www.tektoonics.com/www.tektonics.org/af/cygnus01.html'
http://www.tektoonics.com:80/parody/board.html

After that I gave up.

Finally:
"Not Found

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
This is a minor one.

Re: Tektoonics.com
That whole thing with capitals is mind-numbingly stupid, because tektoonics.com is ON THE SAME SERVER!
It shouldn't have worked any differently.
Thankfully my FTP program allows me to change those, albeit ONE at a time.
I may not worry about links. Tektoon is mostly intended as a display for my creative efforts. I can hardly wait for Dimbo to start picking on it.

So anyway, who wants to be the first to do something for the Fan Art section? Johnny? Sparko? Punkish, even?
I'll offer as a reward a very sweet, never before seen concept piece of Sheila offering her best (somewhat pensive) dress-imitation of Tarzan's girlfriend Jane. (Why she's pensive, and why she's dressed like that at all....you'll have to wait, maybe, 3-4 years to find out.
)
And for yuks, maybe someone wants to imagine Dimbo writing about it the new site too?
Interesting jaunt I did yesterday too; I found a site called deviantart.com where one of the members, a college art student, quotes a line from my DaVinci Code article in her sig line.

so when are you gonna stop with this silly comic strip nonsense and move into 3D rendered hollywood style movies (like Shrek)???
