Been a while since I posted an update. Mrs. CP had reconstructive surgery this past Thursday, and all went well. She's recovering remarkably well, and so far there hasn't even been any discussion of chemo or radiation or other treatment. She appears to be cancer free!The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.Comment

Just make sure she has regular check-ups for the rest of her life (as I'm sure you both will). Cancer is a fiend that, once you get it and beat it, you can't ever be sure it won't come back.Comment

Yup -- and we have learned so much we didn't know. Like hers is "hormone fed", and manipulating her hormones can pretty much block a recurrence. So, my youngest daughter (born in 1980) is a real hoot, and, unfortunately, has a sense of humor very much like mine. (Funny how that happens)
So, youngest daughter gets my wife a T-shirt that says, in large letters on the chest, "Yes, they're fake - my real ones tried to kill me".
