Tell her that for the next week, her job is to take good care of herself and not to worry about it. Worry doesn't change anything for the better and won't do anything useful. Scripture says repeatedly 'fear not' - God is still God, still in control, still loves you both and can handle whatever comes. Let Him handle the worry - that's His job. He's God - ain't no worry big enough to be a problem for Him!

3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)

                      Just saw this.

I have some resources to suggest about navigating cancer from a position of faith. When you're ready to tackle things in that way, PM me and I'll send links. Right now, keep hugging each other.

There may be hope. A vaccine to hide the CD47 marker on human cells. The marker signals, "Don't eat me!" If all those markers are hidden, macrophages can chow down on the cancer cells.

Some of us obviously don't pray, but my thoughts are with you and your wife nonetheless.
                            I'm not here anymore.

I picked up the "reports" packet from St. Luke's Hospital's Imaging Lab in preparation for our visit to MD Anderson on Monday.

I'm beginning to wish I hadn't read the findings.
