You could appoint me as the absolutist monarch of TWeb.

      Just a thought.

Let me get this straight, you type slow so that's Tweb's problem?
No, I type fast but the letters appear on the screen like droplets from the leaking faucet. And everything else moves very slowly, like scrolling, in this website forum.

Maybe there is something doing it from the technical aspects of the website operation, rather than from my side.

I don't have this trouble with other websites and other forums, except this one of Theology Web.

I am sorry for this website forum and sorry for myself.

Suppose the owners and operators ask other posters here if they have the same exprience, and do something about it.

Perhaps on my side for this website to operate faster I have to do some interventions, but which ones and where and how?

Thanks for any advice and instructions.

      Gerry

Add a field in a user's profile that let's us know what the previous 5 usernames he/she/it had, so everytime I return to TWEB (the next day), it doesn't feel like I was away for six months. User cannot have their name changed more than 5 times in a week.

Re: Tell us what YOU think

I don't have anymore the trouble I had with this forum.

I now have just one or two suggestions or questions:

One, how do you screen people whom you put in positions to be like moderators, administrators, technicians, etc., in order to make sure that they are not closet atheists of the disruptive kinds?

And how do you keep monitoring your moderators, etc., to make sure that they are not playing double agents here in this Christian forum?

Two, why don't you just put the official title of people here under their name in conspicuously big black fonts, instead of requiring members here to hover their mouse cursor on top of their name.

Right at this moment in my place, local time 8:24 a.m., eight hours in advance of Greenwich, September 14, 2009, this name Gromit45 does not uncover any title whatever when I scroll the mouse cursor on top.

For the rest I want to commend the owners and operators of this forum for not warning me as much as 16 times in less than a week time of posting, which is often the case with atheists forums -- for writing about the same things and in the same way I write here.
