  • Pentagon report predicted rise of ISIS

It's just amazing how evidence is accruing for the conspiracy theories:

The report is here, if anyone is interested.

I'll never understand why there needs to be an "official" document to prove something that requires just a little common sense. US has a history rife with funding, arming and creating radical Muslim terrorist groups and then bellyaching about the problem later on as justification for more military enterprises. I think the term is: problem, reaction, solution.

Well, the nationalists skeptics always demand more conclusive evidence.

I personally don't believe it's skepticism than just outright denial. Denial is a whole different psychology, thus it doesn't matter how much conclusive evidence you present. Note how little attention this thread gets as evidence of this.

How do you know how little attention this thread has been getting?

Anyway, looking at the years since World War II, does it not seem that the USFG has been practicing perpetual war? Rather expensive, as far as taxpayers are concerned, to boot.

Attention in terms of replies on a highly controversial subject.

Empire gotta empire. And for quite some time the gains had outweighed costs - at least for those in power.
