AND the fact that, as Chief Executive, he allowed CABINET LEVEL officials to publicly defend him?

We agree that people should be held accountable for their actions. What some folk are trying to here, though, is peddle cheap slander as legitimate accusation. Which is not OK.

Who's trying to do that, Sam? Remember - it took quite a while to get the truth on the blue dress situation, too --- up to that point, it was just "cheap slander and not legitimate accusation". You were probably saying the same thing back then --- "it's just cheap slander".

So IF and WHEN there is actual evidence of fraud, as I wrote, you or others can make the accusation without it being cheap slander. UNTIL then, however, it remains such. There are plenty of accusations that start as and remain cheap slander.

There's evidence, Sam - you're just refusing to see it. Lack of conviction does not equate to lack of evidence.

And there are plenty of accusations that have solid basis in fact, but for various reasons, never result in conviction. Again, until the blue dress, all of the Clinton stuff was being labeled "cheap slander". The FACTS that were being presented did not magically transform from "cheap slander" to fact when the blue dress surfaced, Sam - they were facts all along, but were very skillfully manipulated, aided and abetted.

Sam, you weren't actually thinking that we were going to defend Hastert just because he's a Republican, like you're defending Clinton just because he's a Democrat, were you?
