Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
Well, not really.
If anything, Brazil may be seen as more...exotic than most South American countries. It probably has something to do with all those supermodels and hair straightening treatments.
And, yeah, the Portuguese aspect sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of Spanish-speaking South America.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
A Brazilian friend of mine (who is of Korean descent) has noticed that Brazilian girls who move to the United States seem to become more haughty and pretentious once they get out of Brazil.

"I'm Brazilian, therefore you must stand in awe and amazement at how special my Brazilianess is."
My friend just says the girls turn meaner in the United States.

Like
said, it is a chain of Italian restaurants in the United States.

As for authenticity: the commercials on T.V. talk about how authentic their "Tuscan-style" food is.
As my logic goes: It probably isn't that authentic.

But I do like Olive Garden better than Romano's Macaroni Grill.
The food there is
and the prices are almost as bad as buying 3 loaves of Cuban bread for $25.
