I spent so much time broken up over a loser when, all along, I had missed out on what I truly needed: a man who doesn't have the mentality of an adolescent.

There's something a bit more seriously wrong with this picture than simple adolescent tendencies. You can have such a mentality, in a sense, without being a pedo *insert name of feminine hygiene product here*.

Of course, we then got a piece of ham and put it in his CD wallet... which was there for about 2 months before he noticed.

Oh, that's nothing. A number of years back I went with some friends to Wal Mart and they got some groceries. We had a full car, so had to put the groceries in the trunk. What we didn't know was that a package of meat(I never did find out what kind it was) had fallen out of one of their bags and managed to squeeze through a loose flap into the area that holds my spare tire.

I almost never have reason to get into my trunk, so I didn't notice anything was wrong for months. I noticed a strange smell, but the meat was sealed off from the main part of the car well enough that it didn't become very strong. Strangely enough, it was a later trip to that same Wal Mart with the same friends who had to do some grocery shopping again that led to use discovering the mystery meat.

When we opened the trunk . . . oh, that was not fun. And when we realized just what the smell was, I made one of them get it out. It was their old, rotten meat and I wasn't going to touch it. I think the package of old meat ended up in an abandoned shopping cart. I also guessed at that time that the smell in the car was stronger than I had thought; apparently I was just used to it. Once the meat was gone, the change was immediate and dramatic. It smelled like a brand new car . . . at least in comparison to how it had smelled for at least a couple months.

The only worthwhile lecturer was this Scottish guy. There was another guy who actually taught us stuff, but he kind of gave up the next year. We think he had a mid-life crisis, because he dyed his hair even though he was balding and grey... and he suddenly bought a motorbike.

Mid-life crises are stupid. People should be more like me and get their major crises out of the way while they're still young.

All of our laws are lax... well, unless you have not done anything wrong. For example, a gang of criminals broke into some guys house and tied him and his family up. He escaped, got his brother, broke back in, and then chased them away. Because they beat one of them with cricket bats, they went to prison. The guy who got beaten up was released without charge... and went on to reoffend within the day.
