Wool is also good for keeping cool in the summer for very short periods.

People don't realize that wool keeps summer heat out as well as body heat in.

It will build up to uncomfortable levels fast, and wool doesn't pull perspiration from the skin well.

That's why we wear thin cotton usually instead of wool in the summer.

So in the long term, cotton keeps you drier and cooler than wool.
