Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
Maybe I can start doing laps around my neighborhood again. I need to strengthen my legs for the trip. I know I will walk all the time.

Well, if the old guys are gonna stare, they'll stare and approach you anyway. Might as well not worry. And yes, health is paramount.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
Steps to cut back the pudge:
1) Stop eating chocolate, cookies, croissants, baguettes, semi-soft cheeses, café con leche, medianoches, ice cream, madeleines, hot chocolate, frappuccinos, pastelitos, pasta, bagels, muffins, doughnuts and dairy products in general.
(Not that I eat all of these items on a regular basis, but they do interfere with my goals.)
2) Drink more water. Eat more fruit. Eat more salads. More lean meats and veggies.
3) Burn those calories.

But it helps me. I stop and think about what I might stick in my mouth if I pause to write it down.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
Maybe I should turn slightly anorexic again.
I was at a point where I was consuming fewer than 1,000 cals a day and exercising to burn around 900 cals. Not a very smart thing to do.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
I remember one day I was working out on a machine and felt as if I was going to faint right on the spot. I thankfully had a cereal bar to keep me from dropping to the ground.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
Maybe I should move to France for a year. I could get the benefit of eating properly and have the need to walk to wherever I need to go.
Plus, with the rising Euro, I wouldn't have enough dough to purchase food anyway.
