Basically, the shiny lining gets hot when subjected to microwaves. The heat is what crisps the food.

I always LOVED that part of the show! I also loved watching Reading Rainbow.

Now I watch "How It's Made" and "Some Assembly Required"

I hope so. Anonymous is soooooo slippery. I guess they have hundreds if not thousands of fly-by-night members who don't know eachother. No names, no hierarchy. But maybe govermant hackers still have some tricks up their sleeves.

A microwave oven normally heats food by increasing the energy (and thus heat) of moisture in food or other microwaved items.

It was my favorite part, too.

I love How It's Made (The Mythbusters-How It's Made block is one of the things I most miss about cable).

What was you favorite part of RR? I always like the main story they read. LeVar Burton's voice always comforted me.

I liked the places he showed. One memorable episode was the behind-the-scenes one he did of Star Trek: The Next Generation. I thought that was so cool, especially since he was on the cast of ST:TNG, kinda like showing what else he did for TV.

Yeah, that was an awesome episode. One of my favorites. Now that I think about RR may actually have been the show that spaked my love of travelogues !
