In an ideal, perfect world that worked, it really wouldn't be.
Yet, we do not live in an ideal perfect world because the people running it are not ideal and rather imperfect.

I enforce my listening skills by watching French films. My most recent film is "The Visitors." A wacky but still interesting film.

It is about two men from the 12th century who time-travel to the 20th century. It was interesting to hear the variations of "old-school" French vocabulary, pronunciations and verb conjugations.
