I'm very tired, but the BBQ went great. We had more food than you can poke a stick at - normal stuff like lamb chops and sausages (staple fare at Aussie BBQs) but other abnormal stuff like BBQ'd squid too! MMMM. And normal calimari, and fish cakes, and marinated chicken, and a stupid amount of salad.

And then CAKE. Chai tea cake (mine, which came out fantastic btw and Andrew's mum loves it - and Andrew was coming up with an excuse as to why he can eat it for breakfast and it be a balanced breakfast - well it does have milk, butter, eggs, sugar, "bread"...), key lime pie (Andrew's - and FANTASTIC and our priest adored it), baklava (Andrew's Mum - I joke that I only go to their house for the baklava, it's that good), fruit (boring but nice) and a chocolate cake that Eleni brought with her.

I am still full.

I'm alive and I'm battling with G-mail so it can send the stupid points the French Club and French Honor Society have racked up for this month so far.

Amazingly, no. Except we don't say that anyway, ever. We DID have Father sitting down with his plate of fish cakes and calimari (monks don't eat meat) and then realising that there was BBQ'd squid and just about leaping up to grab some. He's funny

Also, any excuse to eat cake, right?

I'm off to college for orientation week stuff today in about twenty minutes. Should be good!
