Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
It is just SO GOOD to wake up around 9:00 a.m.
That is a luxury I can afford only on the week-ends.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
Plan today:
Go to bank #1 to withdraw money from my savings account
Go to bank #2 to deposit money previously withdrawn from bank #1 so I can pay my bills
(Money in bank #1 is meant to save money for France)
Go to supermarket to buy...food
Go home to make lunch with food bought in supermarket
Go out with Mom to mall/do Mother's Day shopping for Grandma
Reserve spot in a restaurant for tomorrow

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
My bank plans were thwarted when Mom told me we were going to the doctor.
I still need to go to the supermarket; this time, I have the intention of making French onion soup. I need gruyčre, cognac and a beef bouillon cube, though.
And I still need to call the restaurant to reserve a spot.

Huh. The restaurant is not taking reservations; it is on a "first-come, first-served" basis tomorrow.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
As for the cognac, the gruyčre and the beef bouillon cubes (along with some baguette), I shall go to Costco.
I need to pump my gas there anyway.

CostCo didn't have gruyčre, so I ended up going to Publix anyway.

I toasted the bread I got at CostCo and followed the recipe as it is in the book.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
The recipe called for 3 cups of white wine, which I find a bit too strong for my taste.
But it is pretty good.
