Finally found some on Newegg, and even with shipping the total was about what I'd pay for a pair in the store here.

I've been taking my big studio monitoring headphones with me to work for my breaks, and the nice thing is that I can't hear the in-store music or my coworkers talking at all.

We can adjust the volume of the in-store music in the breakroom, but sometimes we leave it on low because we need to hear pages. If it's up full volume it's just annoying.

But when I start walking/jogging again I will need the little earphones so I can hear traffic and stuff.

My thinking is more continuous, so there are no sudden thoughts unless they interupt an already ongoing thought process.

So to hear people complain about their minds racing is to me like hearing people complain about not being able to stop breathing.

My "little earphones" are more powerful than my big headphones. Then again mine have built-in earplugs and go right inside your ears.

I can't wear any that go into the ear. Not even earbuds. Not only are they terribly uncomfortable (when I can get them to stay) but the ones you describe would not be ideal for walking and jogging because I wouldn't be able to hear traffic.

It's not an issue of power or volume, it's how the speaker sits in relation to the ear canal. Can outside noise get in? If I can still hear what's going on around me with the volume up high enough, then they're suitable for my purposes.
