Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
I had this really bizarre dream last night where I, for some reason, was attacked by Rupert Grint and Simon Pegg, and ended up beating the crap out of them.
Crab Battle
noun
Words uttered to incite an all in brawl. Whoever says the words 'Crab Battle' will usually be spear tackled to the ground by anyone else present, and all parties will then engage in a fight to the death.
Reality untouchable, transparent, invisible to our fixed, restricted fields of vision. Existence taken for granted, absolute. Possessed, owned, controlled by the common sense-infected rational gaze, onward forever we walk among the ignorant. Never stray from the common lines.

Simon Pegg is probably kind of squishy.

There was also some ginger kid who was an extra in Shaun of the Dead. It was weird.

Either way, currently watching the Moebius two-parter of Stargate SG-1.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
Sort of. SG-1 hatch a plan to travel back in time to 3000BC to steal a ZPM from Ra in Ancient Egypt, but the plan backfires when Ra's Jaffa discover the Puddle Jumper. They plan a rebellion but it fails, O'Neill, Carter and Teal'c are executed and Ra takes the Stargate with him. In the alternate future, O'Neill is still retired, Daniel Jackson has a job teaching English as a second language to immigrants to the US, and Carter has a mediocre job as a proofreader. They discover a video tape left behind by the original SG-1, find the puddle-jumper and locate the second Stargate in Antarctica, they go to Chulak, get Teal'c but alternate Daniel Jackson is killed as he was a Goa'uld spy. They go back in time, again, team up with original Daniel Jackson and hatch a plan to steal the Stargate and start another, successful, rebellion. In the now fixed future, original SG-1 find the ZPM along with a video tape from the old old Jackson and old new SG-1, meaning they no longer have to go back in time.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
The twisty turny time travelly goodness of that episode, along with the hilarious alternate timeline versions of Daniel and Sam, make that one of my favourites. Also, I tend to like two-parters, especially if I can watch them back to back and don't have to wait for part 2 to air a week later.
