Not to be a pain or anything, but:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plate_mailCrab Battle
noun
Words uttered to incite an all in brawl. Whoever says the words 'Crab Battle' will usually be spear tackled to the ground by anyone else present, and all parties will then engage in a fight to the death.
Reality untouchable, transparent, invisible to our fixed, restricted fields of vision. Existence taken for granted, absolute. Possessed, owned, controlled by the common sense-infected rational gaze, onward forever we walk among the ignorant. Never stray from the common lines.

The only conclusion I can come to is that Quanta tricked LS into thinking there is no such thing as plate mail. I don't really want to believe she didn't know such a thing existed.

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.

LS showed me the same link last night. Do you people not know what "Redirected from..." means on a Wiki page? It means you typed in a term that is incorrect and Wikipedia knows what you probably really meant. "Plated mail" is not "plate mail". There is an extra letter in there. Can you spot it?

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
Plate mail or sometimes Platemail is a common colloquialism that is often used in popular role playing games and the like. Most commonly it is taken to refer to Plate Armour. For example:

Re: Shepherd's belated bonus point spam thread.
This isn't helping your point that it actually exists.
Most commonly it is taken to refer to Plate Armour. For example:
http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Plate_Mail[/QUOTE]
Again, plate is armour made of plates. Mail is lots of rings linked through each other. They are different! Sometimes they are worn together, but they are still two totally distinctly different types of armour.
Calling them the same thing is like calling a ham sandwich a "PBJ and ham". Of course they are both sandwiches and they could be eaten together but they are different types!
