I have an idea. If we ever get a Minecraft server going, then we should do a Battle Royale/Hunger Games esque play of Minecraft. We should get a bunch of people who like Minecraft (and actually own it) to take part. How it works is: we are split into teams of two. After spawning, each team heads off into a different direction. The aim is simple: the team that outlasts all the others, wins. Each team has to collect resources, and thus, compete with the other teams for survival. This means, if you encounter the other teams' members on your travels, then you can kill them. Only one team can win.

The only difference is, you don't HAVE to go out of your way to get rid of other teams, just that you can. If they get killed by mobs, or by falling into lava, then that works too. So, technically, you could just run away from the other teams, but that would be boring.

On the video series I am watching, one member of each team records the game from their perspective. So one person of each team needs Fraps or some other recording software. Makes it more interesting.
