Honestly, I am not real worked up about the oil for food thing, and am pretty sure element elements of the US, French, Russian, and German governments were invovled, as well as Turkey and Syria. But what's the story?

Bayoil paid more than the AWB. Heck, Hussein got far more money from oil smuggling to Jordan and Turkey than he did from the Oil for Food program, and both the US and the UK not only knew about the smuggling, but tacitly approved it!

As far as the thread topic goes, I'm not shocked (but disappointed nonetheless) that someone identifed as a conservative does something I don't agree with. All too often, when I vote I must choose between the lesser of two (or least of three or more) evils.
