Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
There’s no need to fear the Holy Spirit is here!

When our boys were young the Saturday morning cartoon lineup included “Underdog” I am not sure whether they remember it or not but the Gary in me who doesn’t want to grow up does. “When in this world the headlines read of those whose hearts are filled with greed who rob and steal from those who need to right this wrong with blinding speed goes Underdog!”

The show always opened up with these words, “There’s no need to fear Underdog is here.” While Underdog was only a cartoon created in someone imagination and brought to life on television sets and movie screens the Holy Spirit is not a figment of someone's imagination and not brought to life on a television set or movie screen but in YOUR life! “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lies with you now and later will be in you.” (John 14:16–17, NLT)

“But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.” And if you tune yourself listen to the Holy Spirit even in the roar of the most deafening storm life throws your way you can hear the Spirit saying. “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2, NLT)

We must always remember: God’s promise never says we won’t go through deep waters, rivers of difficulty, or through fires of oppression he promises the Holy Spirit will get us get through them in one piece.

    Believe! Anticipate! Experience! Be transformed!
    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
    Gary
