Hamster's pick - Torturing Animals to Death

I wonder what would happen if I were to open a clinic down the street where I can take in unwanted animals -- dogs, cats, ferrets, pot-bellied pigs -- and put them down...

... by taking a carving knife to them. Without the benefit of anesthetic, of course. Or perhaps stick a pair of scissors into their skull, pry it open like pliers, and suck their brains out with a suction tube while they writhe on my table. For the little ones -- ferrets, hamsters (sorry buddy! ) and such, I could just shove them down the garbage disposal and let the whirring blades take care of 'em...

I know what would happen! I'd have people outside, protesting vehemently and calling for me to be arrested!

      AND RIGHTFULLY SO!

How tragic that a stray, unwanted cat has more rights and legal protection in this country than a human baby.

Excellent point, and a horrible one at the same time.
In the grave they chose to make their beds
Now all that they've created comes crashing down,
      Down upon their heads
      Death is waiting

Great post Jim! And yes it is a very sad state of confusion the world is in today.
If I have a mystical experience, an experience that's so overwhelming that I know now that there's a God, the cognitive fallout from that is irrelevant. The fact that that experience can be explained by psychologists in numerous ways is irrelevant to the fact that I now know.

I've moved all the posts that should have been part of the other topic to that topic now ... and I'm closing this thread so it doesn't erroneously continue here.

... It was a great pick Hamster and a great post RI
