Then you obviously recall incorrectly. Goliath was pooping soap bubbles so you rushed him up to the vet running folks off the road on your way up because you were too busy screaming at me on your cellphone to pay proper attention to where you were going.

The vet told you to keep him indoors and away from those "bully squirrels" as you were calling them. The fact that he kept snickering as he told you caused you to call me back screaming about how I had bribed the vet to "cover up" the what had been done to Goliath.

So you tried to file a complaint at the sheriff's office. They, for whatever reason, were all too happy to file an arrest warrant for me until you explained the reason. IIRC they booted you out and told you to go home with your wimpy cat.

Even Mrs. Collins was sniggering at you when you got home and made that mad dash to the house with Goliath in your arms in absolute fear what those "bully squirrels" would do to him if they caught him outdoors.

Of course she did her sniggering from behind closed blinds since she still believed you are the only one standing in the way of CP moving into the neighborhood.

What are you on this time?!?!?! Goliath ate your stupid squirrels and I spent the evening bathing him. The cops showed up because you filed a missing persons report - until I explained to them just what was 'missing' (and sent them home with an extra bag of squirrel meat). The only one pooping bubbles was you - you really shouldn't smart off to angry cops about 'washing your mouth out with soap' for lying (I believe you called it 'marginally adjusting the truth').

And Mrs. Collins is friends with a couple of the ER nurses who told her about the bubbly poop thing - hence the snickering at you!
