Well I think we've largely exhausted this discussion. While I don't really agree with anything in your last post, I don't see the point of arguing over any of it.

Further, in past times gay sex was risky in that it necessarily has to use the waste pipe.

Just one comment... the majority of gay sex in the present day doesn't 'use the waste pipe' as you euphemistically put it. The same applied in the ancient world, as plenty of ancient art and writings depict the use of hands, the mouth, and between the front of the legs, as being standard.
