Question Big God vs small god

How does your view of the (in)errancy of the Bible as being the inspired Word of God compare with your view God?

Do you believe in a limited god who is at the mercy of some forces that are beyond his control?

Or do you believe in a limitless God who exists independently of time and space, and is able to make whatever He wants happen come to pass?

      God does have some limits.

Like the fact that it is impossible for God to lie!

But all in all I believe in a limitless God who exists independently of time and space, and is able to make whatever He wants happen come to pass?

Nothing is impossible with God, provided the understandings of St. Aquinas which do not reduce his omipotence.

God has limits after a fashion. For example, He is perfectly and infinitely holy, so He cannot be unholy; He is perfectly and infinitely just, so He cannot be unjust; He is perfectly and infinitely righteous, so He cannot be unrighteous. I think, though, that to call these things "limits" is a misnomer - it really misrepresents the limitlessness of His attributes.

God's limits were set by Himself....Like the fact He Himself said He can't lie, or said "I am the Lord, I change not".

Yet, Like studying the word Jehovah, it can mean the ever-existing One Who always exists as __.

He's not overridden man's free will--if He did, why doesn't everyone pay their tithes?

Kind of an interesting thought that just came to me....
In many ways, we to a far lesser extent share in some of the qualities/attributes of God (love, we can be holy, etc etc) notice on earth we could do whatever we wanted to an extent (We could talk about people behind their backs , we could cuss like it was our job , or even go on a killing spree :saywhat: ) yet we don't do these things because we choose to limit ourselves from doing these things....If we didn't, what's to stop us from walking out the front door of our houses tomorrow stark naked as we stroll around town bludgening to death every infant child we see?
God is a lot like that....He has the ability (or had it) to do whatever, but limited Himself by what He told us in His Word.

      IN HIM
      The Classic--Everyone Poops
      The Lesser--Nobody Poops But You
