{Tim} Campaign Reaches Truce With JPHoldings!
"The road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the road has gone and I must follow if I can. Pursuing it with eager feet until it joins some larger way, where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say." - Tolkien

Yeah, vote for JP and I will draw you an evil parody of one of his characters. If you really really really want me to. And if I have time. And feel like it.

I like being whacked with sticks.

The following will appear on the What's New page on Friday. (I need to finish whacking an atheist with a stick first.)
On a fun note, some goings on over at TheologyWeb. I was nominated by a member/Tekton reader there for what's called Alumnus of the Month (read: Alumnus = member). This has been done before, and for various reasons you can find listed there, I'm pursuing it seriously this time. You can find more information about that here [link] (as well as the voting spot, if you're a member -- and yes, I'm serious about the perks). In addition, note the nominee in the top box, Tim. I've worked a deal with his campaign manager (the one who nominated him, Brandalf85) that I will re-nominate Tim for the June election and throw my weight behind his campaign.
*ahem* I don't see any guest art submissions from you.... *ahem*

That's about it, I think. Although she did seem to have a habit of letting people go whom she liked, so long as they weren't in her way any more.
... I hope she likes me.

Re: {Tim} Campaign Reaches Truce With JPHoldings!
She only liked Raynor. She let Arcturus and Zeratul go because she thought they would suffer more this way.
"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

True, but I was referring more to staying alive versus dying. Point noted, however. :)
