The human mind is much more powerful than any CGI graphics they can make.

Done right though a little bit of gore can make things so much creepier*.

*Despite the zombie looking really goofy in Resident Evil(the PSX version), that little bit of blood around it's lips was enough to creep me out.

That would leave a "last edited by" note.

I don't see one on your post or mine, and I know I edited mine.

You can edit your own post within a certain time limit without the notice appearing (I think the grace period is two minutes) but unless something has changed if anyone else does so you get the last edited message.

I've never been into the "torture porn" aspect of horror. Nothing wrong with gore, but it can get a bit too much. I think the remake of Evil Dead did it just right.

It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." ― C.S. Yeah, that remake was better than I thought it was going to be, and the new Evil Dead tv series actually looks like it's going to be really decent.

I'm so with you. I was pleasantly surprised by the remake. Other than Friday the 13th, it's one of the best remakes to come out in a long time. You know, I wasn't sure how I was going to feel with Bruce being a bit out of shape for this, but it looks like they are going to use it for full effect.

Poop. I'll get to see one episode before having to cancel my Showtime/Movie Channel/Starz/Encore package due to a substantial rate hike on November 4.
