Without a clear-cut definition of sin, morality becomes a mere argument over the best way to train animals

Well, she's no spring chicken. Will she be the first one in line?
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." ― C.S. Lewis, God in the Dock: Essays on Theology (Making of Modern Theology)

So far the western world hasn't adopted euthanasia in any publically approved way, and it remains an illegal practice. Will this change in the future? Probably. Its something a lot of people who don't care much if anything about God or the natural order wants.

But I think we Christians can grind our collective heels and at least slow down the arrival.

I thought some places already had assisted suicide. And some cases with dubious consent...

Should I know who Katie Hopkins is?
"I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

The Netherlands is one place that has euthanasia in place for years.

And it is coming to Canada. I believe Quebec decided to allow it just recently.

She appears to be a nutty celebrity looking for attention who has said loads of random and controversial things in the past. On the plus side she isn't running for President and polling really well, like a certain other nutty celebrity looking for attention that I could name.

I'm amused by how much Christians love to scaremonger about certain subjects. Euthanasia seems to be one of them. Some of the theories they come up with about what atheists 'want' and what the world without God will 'want' are hilarious.

Considering that you support killing babies several months after they've been born if the parents decide that they don't want them how old do you think someone should be before others decided that they're a burden and need to be executed?

Last I check Belgium counted as a Western Country.

And they have just approved that a healthy individual (can't remember her name), who is battling depression, can be legally euthanized.

I take it you're against euthanasia then? Otherwise I was simple humbly proposing that its going to become a legally established practice in most of the western world eventually. If you're for euthanasia, then I'm not sure why you're quoting my post, except perhaps to gloat.

Wouldn't killing three month olds be euthanasia? Unless he intends that they be dispatched the same way unborn babies are.

Yes, but I suppose it would be called a post-partum abortion.
