Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

    A Glory Seed Devotional
The Journey of a Spiritual Gift…

“I will give you no greater burden than you can bear,” weave those words of God into the fabric of your life. Yet, at times it gets harder and harder to walk life’s road as the burdens continue to build, important decisions become more difficult, relationships continue to decay, and hopelessness becomes a way of life.

Silently and profoundly we humans wait for God to intervene in our lives, to lighten our burdens, to give us faith, to increase our knowledge, to give us the right words, to make us feel good about ourselves. And life goes on waiting and hoping, praying and struggling.

The journey of a Spiritual Gift conceived in the mind and will of God embracing, enveloping, and empowering the spirit of a human. The journey of a Spiritual Gift is a doorway between heaven and earth and at the same time between earth and heaven. It is the act of God touching his creation and leaving his mark.

The journey of a Spiritual Gift can be the power of a gentle whisper or enough power to send a man to die on a cross for you; it is as fragile as a snowflake yet as sturdy as heaven itself.

The journey of a Spiritual Gift does not always change situations and circumstances sometimes it simply gives you whatever you need to navigate the rigorous winding road of life.

The journey of a Spiritual Gift comes in many forms as many as it takes for God to accomplish his purpose. It can come as faith, as a healing, as the voice of revelation, as enlightenment. It can come from a stranger or friend tipped off by the whisper of God. The journey of a Spiritual Gift brings wisdom, divine intervention, forgiveness, hope, peace, and love.

The journey of a Spiritual Gift is always beyond the physical, always beyond the temporary, always lifting up the journey of a human to touch the journey of God. The Journey of a Spiritual Gift begins with the son of a carpenter and ends with the Son of God walking from the dark cold tomb. The journey of a Spiritual Gift seek it, enjoy it, savor it, honor it, use it, love it, but do not horde it.

“…Ask and you’ll get; Seek and you’ll find; Knock and the door will open. “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need…” (Luke 11:9–10, The Message)

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

“When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end—” (Isaiah 43:2, The Message)
