When Michael Brown, 18 years old, unarmed, was shot by a police officer it sparked a national outrage for a variety of reasons. Not the least of which that an 18 year old boy was dead and the circumstances were heavily contested on both sides.

In this case, a gangbanger shot a cop. No one is contesting the ethics of the case. The person who killed the officer is, last i looked, in a hospital.

Did Obama send any of his aides to her funeral, did he publicly address the the murder? So again, why hasn't Obama once spoken up for a white person who was treated unjustly?

Honestly it doesn't matter what I believe. The point is that there is controversy around the Ferguson shooting and it was seen as endemic of systemic issues by a large segment of the US.

The situation here in the Bay Area is not equivalent to this and, likewise, acting as though the President's response should be is ludicrous
