This is an open forum area for all members for discussions on all issues of science and origins. This area will and does get volatile at times, but we ask that it be kept to a dull roar, and moderators will intervene to keep the peace if necessary. This means obvious trolling and flaming that becomes a problem will be dealt with, and you might find yourself in the doghouse.

  • Finally - proof of Evolution!!!

    .
    .
After much searching, I have finally come across PROOF for Evolution.

Why wasn't I shown this long ago? It would have saved me decades of doubt!
It appears in a site called "Real Clear Science" so you know it's got to be "real".

    Here is the PROOF: http://www.realclearscience.com/vide...0_seconds.html

    Bwahahahahahaha!!!

Amazing what people can do with a few drawings, isn't it?

Hey, we get to see 550 million years of Evolution in 40 seconds!
That's a trick that even Merlin would be proud of!
And it's all done with "beautiful animation". Yup, "real science".

Ummm ... about 30 seconds into the video I recognize a few TWebbers.
Don't be bashful ... you know who you are. Yeah, YOU!

Seriously, this exemplifies what "science" has become nowadays.
"Real Clear Science"??? Hardly! "Real Clear Fantasy" is far more appropriate.

Sigh, so many Evolutionists ... so little time.

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight

There is no such thing as PROOF of evolution.

"When the Western world accepted Christianity, Caesar conquered; and the received text of Western theology was edited by his lawyers…. The brief Galilean vision of humility flickered throughout the ages, uncertainly…. But the deeper idolatry, of the fashioning of God in the image of the Egyptian, Persian, and Roman imperial rulers, was retained. The Church gave unto God the attributes which belonged exclusively to Caesar."

          Jorge,

Either you pop in from time to time to rattle our cages to see if we are still alive or you are clueless.

No one claims that to be "proof" of evolution. Rather it diagrammatically represents what evolutionists think happened, based on the evidence.

Perhaps you don't understand. Let me put it this way. Only a complete dimwit would argue that this:-

          Image of ancient Rome

          - is proof that ancient Rome existed.

Rather, folk with a modicum of common sense would understand it to be a representation of what ancient Rome was thought to be like, based on the evidence, but not a proof that modern Rome existed.

Do you see why and how your thinking is so muddled? So change the title of the OP.

Thanks for the video anyway. It's neat

                Hi Jorge,

--- Please note that the above is PROOF one cannot teach an OLD dog NEW tricks ...

My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not  bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19

                        Duh!

Nor is there PROOF (in the sense of systematic logic) of ANY scientific theory. Instead there is a great deal of SUPPORTING EVIDENCE.

And there is a GREAT DEAL of supporting evidence for change of life forms over time.

                        That's how SCIENTIFIC METHOD works.

If you want a very simple example that's not offensive to 6/24/6000 YECers, consider artificial selection.
