By my reading, Roy was right to call you out on an improper analogy. Your comparison might have made sense in reply to a different post, but, given the very particular post you were replying to, it's easy to see why Roy raised the objection he did.

Besides, you jumped in rather late to this thread in the first place. Starlight had already had a rather ridiculous meltdown before your first post here, so you were kind of kicking him while he's down.
