What do you want to be when you grow up?
And if you're already grown, what are you doing with your life right now? Did it meet your expectations?
What I want to be (and have the connections to be able to do it):
Minister
Parent (hee-hee, I plan on having more children than my siblings' combined)
Wife (well... maybe)
Director
Producer
Composer
Editor
Photographer
Pianist (although I don't know if that's really a career perce)

Sweet. I want to have a busy life though... let me rephrase, an eventful life. I might leave the United States too, probably not forever, but I definately need to get out of here for a while. I've never even been to the east coast let alone another continent. I want to see what the world is really like.

Message board owner.
"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

Re: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Goals for the next 5 years:
Finish my BA
Complete my MLS
Become Dept. Head of a Co. Library
Move out (ya, haven't done that yet....)
No Debt.
Goals for the the 5 years after that:
Attempt a Co. Librarian Assistant career
Foster Parent
Yep... that's pretty much my life and goals for it. I hope I come up with some new goals in 5yrs, otherwise it'll be pretty much lacking any sort of challenge whatsoever...
