Oh my what a wonderful devotional. I believe it was written in the 1800's. I usually read Charles Spurgeon, Oswald Chambers and other classics but one day I was looking specifically for women's encouragement. I had no interest in devotionals from these past few generations but wanted to go to a kindred heart from the past to mentor my spirit. Something opposite of the Joyce Meyers of today with so many books, and get paid so lovely once those deadlines are met. Sorry if I offend her fans, I don't like her, I don't sense her talks and books are solely based on pure, genuine faith with the SOLE purpose of wanting to encourage other women. It's a free download you can get on your phone. Amazon has one listing of this book with a one review and one star (the one star was due to a cosmetic issue)so it's unfortunate women of this generation will not be able to see this gem.
