Not really a problem but I hadn't noticed before. When Felicity takes Brom's blood she does it from the outside. You can do a venipuncture that way but it's not optimal and really is likely to sting.

He's still being a big baby - it doesn't hurt that bad...

Brom's being like me there...having blood taken drives me up a wall. Especially when they foul it up and have to try 3-4 times like happened recently.

I usually hand off to the nurse after the second failure. But if it makes you feel better, the most sticks into one guy at one time we had to do to get one sample was 34. He really wanted the test done or we'd have quit long since. Arm, hand, foot, leg - she finally got a tube out of the foot. He'd been shooting up for years and had nothing left.

That, kiddies, is yet another reason to avoid drugs - you blow out all your veins and end up having to go to the hospital for them to get it out of an artery... :gack:

Oh, one question - what's the deal with the Sk'lan ears? Some with, some without, variations in shape - is this supposed to be happening or are you forgetting ears the way you keep forgetting the second foot?

Suggestion: if you haven't already, you might want to consider a story board of the characters and races. You've got a lot going on and it gets hard to keep all the particulars straight - especially when you have a large supporting cast.
