if you just saved the attachment I put up above and then uploaded them as custom smilies, then it should work. If you edited any of the files then they can go out of sync.

Try closing your browser down, and opening it up again and looking at a page that doesnt have a bunch of banners on it, but just yours, and see if it still does it.
If it does, erase the smileys and reupload them, doing them in order. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and see if that helps.
