Re: Limited Atonement?
Love. It's actually higher on the criteria list than faith. We are justified by God's love (Grace).

Re: Limited Atonement?
He redeemed them. He first loved them. There's more to salvation than justification.

Re: Limited Atonement?
So unless people have it within themselves to "love", they suffer in Hell?

Re: Limited Atonement?
I'm not the judge of that - you are. Are you going to go into your "God created them to populate Hell, thingie?"

No, that's exactly what you've said. Perhaps you could explain yourself a different way so we could understand.

Re: Limited Atonement?
He did already, that's the point. He first loved them. Are you a universalist?

Re: Limited Atonement?
Quick points:
People are in Hell because they are not forgiven.
God's love doesn't equal God's forgivness.
The church has always taught this.Hey, my name's not actually Jane but Jamie
(Don't ask.) In times past on this site, I have been unwilling to listen to other points of view, and even attacked those who thought differently. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent to those whom I have hurt. "Jesus saves all whose trust is placed in Him alone for salvation, not those whose theology is without inaccuracy. If that were the case, I suppose that none could be saved." -- William Birch

He did already! That's the point, Trout. When are you going to get this?

Re: Limited Atonement?
Of course! God wouldn't renege on that. He's not like that. Which is to say, He's not like you. i.e. It's not about 'sins', it's about love.

So, you don't believe that it's sin that seperates those in Hell from God?
