In here we can leave the seat up, drink from the carton and talk about manly things without fear of the ladies butting in. You know how they can be.

The article was confusing to me

The way some of the points were worded makes me think the author may not have been entirely serious, but if he's joking, I don't get the punch-line

If it's supposed to be a spoof or satire, then I don't get what it's targeting (e.g is there some stereotype that says modern men are cola fanatics?).

Maybe the Jerk can explain it to us.
Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

It's pretty clear you're never actually seen the show then.

I don't care if I'm supposed to stop liking Mountain Dew at 28. I will drink what I want.

You should really try our craft brews. They will change your mind about our beer.

Several microbreweries also have some good beer. I think the problem for the big brands is that they try to create something that will appeal to everyone and end up making something that is incredibly generic and essentially tasteless.

...Which then ends up appealing to everybody, if Bud Light is any guide.
