Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
    You have an open invitation…

You are hereby now and forever more extended an open invitation from God to fall in love with Him again, and again, and again. “But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You.” (Psalm 5:7, AMP)

“And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.” (1 John 4:16, AMP)

We all are aware that the use of the word love is a multifaceted. It is connected to our emotional attachments to people, places, or things. It is also connected to our physical attraction to people, places, or things. And yet at its deepest level it is also a spiritual connection to people, places, and things. The power of emotional and physical love is generated from our own personal experience, they are “home grown” getting their power from the persons, places or things. Love at its deepest level, spiritual and is also home grown but its power does not come from persons, places, things instead its source of power is God, “real” love comes from the source of “Real” Love.

Because “real” love itself is an invisible power that cannot be seen there are times when we see “real” love as fragile and easily lost but “real” love like a mighty Oak Tree has a root system that goes deep into the heart and life of God. The power of “real” love spans even time and space. For example, I continue to feel and live off the love my parents who are no long alive had for me. And I remember the supporting love Patti has for me while I was in a distant hospital following my heart surgery. I know from experience there’s not a Serviceman or Servicewomen putting themselves in harm’s way that is not supported and sustained by the love of those back home.

Because Jesus gave his love and life for us on the cross we live every day of our lives in God’s House of Love where we receive the supporting and sustaining love we need. God’s love for us is always available but our love for God is the “doorway” through which we gain access to God.

    BE strong in the LORD!

    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
    Gary
