Coerced/enticed into Islam

I hope you did not mistake someone else's post for mine.....I know it's sometimes hard to see who wrote what. I love all people because Jesus taught us to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Sort of condescending isn't it? As if the only reason to love someone is because God told you you had to? How about loving them simply because as God's creation they are worthy of your love?

I've read your assertions about what you've read is going on in other places and yet I have seen no proof that this is anything other than propaganda. Sort of like how Darwin's death bed conversion turned out to be a fabrication by Christian pastors trying to come up with a good hook.

I see no need to argue with you.....I love you in Christ. I'm sorry you do not believe the reports of native missionaries that minister in Muslim countries and surely need our prayers and help.

Also, as my mother is very ill as is my dear Muslim friend (a young mother) I hope you will pray for us all.

Thanks, Christian2, very much for the link and your suggestion that "Pilgrim" google forced conversions in Islam.

Pilgrim, since you are a pastor, you might talk with the head of Christian Aid in VA, and learn what is happening firsthand. I'm sure you could visit some of the countries and see the conditions for yourself.

I'm praying that more pastors and Christians become aware of the plight of native pastors/missionaries and other Christians in Muslim countries. Christians in many of those countries are denied jobs because of their faith.....also in the villages, Christians are denied access to the village wells. (At an Islamic forum, a Muslim told me that this is because Christians are considered unclean.) (With the help of Christian Aid, wells are bored for the Christians....and the Christians let all people use their wells. CA also helps Christians to become self employed.)

England (Mission Network News/CP) -- An estimated 250 million Christians worldwide will face persecution in 2007, simply for following Jesus Christ, according to persecution watchdog Release International. The U.K.-based group finds that persecution is growing the fastest in the Muslim world. Release says most persecution takes place in Islam, Communism, Hinduism and Buddhism.

According to the Christian Post, Governments in even moderate Muslim countries often fail to safeguard the rights of their Christian minorities. Abuses suffered by Christians include kidnapping, forced conversion, imprisonment, church destruction, torture, rape and execution.
