Bandecoot memorial night...This Friday night in Pal Talk (12/1/06)
I thought that since so many of us have such fond memories of Bandecoot in Pal Talk it would only make sense to use that forum to remember the Coot.
I bounced the idea off a few people and they all agreed.
So if it's ok with everyone, let's make this Friday night (12/1) a memorial to Bande.
Bring your memories and favorite stories about our "token" athiest.
Pal Talk starts at 7:30....let's start the memorial around 8:00 EST. We can just take it where it goes.
Monty Python quotes, bad 80s music, Buffy references, vegimite, and white tea are all prerequisites.
Hope to see you there!

I think that is a great idea.
Let's make sure that we celebrate his life, and not get morbid. He would have hated that.My name is Tony.

For those who wish to participate, this thread is for leaving condolences:

EST?
Normally, Pal-talk starts 8 EST (which is 7 CST).
Translation, we're starting an hour early... Got it!
(Needed it for the message...

Wonderful night of remembrance of our beloved Andrew.
If I have a mystical experience, an experience that's so overwhelming that I know now that there's a God, the cognitive fallout from that is irrelevant. The fact that that experience can be explained by psychologists in numerous ways is irrelevant to the fact that I now know.
